Georgia Construction Teachers Go "Back to School" High school construction teachers from around the state went "back to school" recently at CEFGA's sixth annual Construction Instructor's Summer Workshop in Lawrenceville, June 16-20. The instructors - who work fulltime as high school construction teachers - came to the workshop seeking the latest in technology and teaching techniques in trades they teach their students. Some 30 instructors from various high schools participated in industry-sponsored workshops, including one-day programs in electrical, masonry, plumbing, sheet metal, welding and safety.
